Director
Akiva is a passionate supporter of global trade and understands that businesses need reliable and flexible funding solutions to support their growth. He has managed and developed Well Vintage with various accelerated growth programs for clients across multiple transactions, which in combination with strong demand for our service offering, has made Well Vintage a player in the non-bank finance industry. His vast experience in property has supported Well Vintage in opening its property based lending platform in 2017. The founder of the Well Vintage Group, Akiva has over 20 years experience in capital raising across the property and commodities sectors.
Qairun Rangena
Operations Manager
Qairun has extensive experience in business operations including the roles of a Personal Assistant, Human Resource Manager and Administrator over the past 15 years. She holds a Diploma in Business Management and Administration, and is responsible for day-to-day accounts and general business operation with oversight over staff protocols. Qairun is an instrumental member of the team and future growth of the group.
Eli Bernstein
Legal & Commercial Advisor
Eli is a financial services and commercial lawyer with extensive background in corporate finance, management consulting, and business strategy. Over the past decades, Eli worked across a range of companies in various sectors including finance, energy, resources and technology. Throughout his roles, Eli has applied innovation to assist companies in developing new products and services, enter emerging markets and embrace disruptive technologies. Eli serves on a number of boards and committees and mentors fintech startups.
Wasis Widjajadi
Project Head – InFlight WiFi
Wasis has over 19 years of experience in Telecommunications with 10 years in GSM Network Provision and more than 5 years in managed services with accomplishments in several multinational companies. Areas include Network Operation and Maintenance (ITIL and eTOM Model), Problem and Incident Management, Project Management, People Management, Conflict Management, Contract Management, Subcontractor Management, Client and Partner Management. A Certified Project Manager ( Ahli Madya Project Management), he has completed various business transactions across the region, establishing Wireline Network Of Indonesia based on a 5 year plan with Asian Development Bank.
Simon Mochkin
Managing Director
A focused and driven entrepreneur possessing an inclusive style and an outstanding track record building businesses and leading transformational change based on a simple philosophy: engaged teams deliver outstanding service, which in turn creates delighted customers who advocate to others within their network. Simon has experience of working and living in markets across Asia and operates as a Managing Director for Well Vintage since 2010. Simon has been responsible for leading the strategy, development and growth in the Asian Region across multiple platforms and client solutions.
Romy Hersham
Project Manager
Romy has worked in Equity and Capital Markets for over 5 years, in compliance and operational roles within ASX listed companies, most recently as Company Secretary and Administrative Officer for Nova Minerals Limited. Romy graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy/International Relations) and is fluent in French. Romy joins Well Vintage as a Project Manager, overseeing and facilitating cross-border transactions.
Joseph Wazzan
Director of Operations - UAE
Joseph is a chartered accountant with a blue chip background. He qualified with EY London and worked in their offices in the MENA region. He also worked for KPMG Corporate Finance for a number of years. Joseph’s career spanning 30 years has largely been centered on corporate finance and restructuring. Joseph joins Well Vintage as Director of our aviation business in the UAE as well as acting as a senior advisor to the Board of the Well Vintage Group.

Muhamad has over 25 years experience in the airfreight industry, and brings senior executive and consultant experience with expertise in airlines, courier services and forwarding business. He has led engagements for the community, national and international airfreight in strategy, business and operational process redesign, revenue enhancement and challenged projects.
Gabriel Tarabay
Head of Capital Raising, Well Vintage
Director, Well Vintage Aviation Group
Gabriel has over 25 years experience in the banking industry, and brings senior executive and consultant experience with expertise in private banking, investment advisory, treasury services, operations, finance, fundraising and technology. He has led engagements for community, national and international banks in strategy, pre and post-merger integration, business and operational process redesign, revenue enhancement and challenged projects. Gabriel holds a BA and MBA in Economics and completed coursework in managing IT resources. He has served as Vice President of Credit Suisse Private Banking, CEO of Banquecorp Limited, and Director of Well Vintage for the Middle East and North Africa developing economic and financial strategies. Under his leadership, the group has expanded to deliver tailored local service on a global scale and today provides a full range across the financial services ecosystem.
Gavin Daneel
Geologist
Since 1982, Gavin has provided a broad range of geological, managerial and corporate services in numerous facets of coal, base and precious metal exploration, project development and mining. He’s participated at an executive level in project management, start-up ventures, joint venture management, operations turnarounds, marketing and promotions, economic and due diligence studies.
Muhamad Fitriansyah Managing Director of PT WV Aviation (Indonesia)
Voted as one of the most successful young entrepreneurs, by the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association, Muhamad begin his career as a Banker in Standard Chartered Bank, then with his solid networks, he moved into mining. There he helped the mining operation expand by capitalising on his own large business network. Through his expertise and management skills, he was able to lead the company in realising its vision and mission. He sees the area of Digital Infrastructure as one of great opportunity, specifically in Digital Aviation Infrastructures such as InFlight Connectivity.
